OPEN LETTER TO THE SUCKER DJ:

What do you mean you are a HipHop DJ all of the sudden ... ?

Maybe you are a pop dj, who is supposed to play catchy familiar music for people who need, and/or want, catchy, and/or familiar, music to be inspired, and/or stimulated, to move and/or party ...

But HipHop dj's have a supernatural ear, together with a level of experience in the history of auditory art/music performance, and the wisdom of the reality that everybody has a different reality ... which empowers them to keep up with and present a FRESH auditory ART production of the combination of sound art that is AHEAD OF THE TIMES (HipHop) ...

HipHop Dj's must be able to provide a fresh enough CONSISTENCY of QUALITY to inspire and stimulate a HipHop audience that wants/needs FRESH brand new funk to be inspired and stimulated to move and party ... I was there in the early and late 80's when people only WENT TO HIPHOP JAMS FOR THE DJ's who WOULD PLAY GREAT BRAND NEW FUNK THEY NEVER HEARD BEFORE WITHOUT PLAYING ANY PLAYED-OUT STALE RECORDS THAT MAKE YOU WANT TO SIT DOWN WHEN YOU CAME TO GIT'DOWN! Give it up and just support Real Dj's cuz you don't got it ... Let me hear you play good new HipHop for at least an hour ... ?
